The International Center for Clinical Excellence (ICCE) in partnership with the Gillis Center Kansas City is pleased to announce the inaugural Achieving Clinical Excellence (ACE) Conference on October 21-22, 2010 at the Westin hotel in Kansas City, Missouri. Building on the success of the ICCE online community this unique event will provide an exciting opportunity for participants to connect with and learn from leading researchers, clinicians, and educators in the fields of behavioral health and expert performance.
A significant body of research shows that the strategies used by top performers are similar across a wide array of fields including medicine, sports, music, chess, and behavioral health! Conference participants will be exposed to the latest, cutting edge, evidence-based strategies specifically designed to improve their practice and achieve their personal best as helping professionals. Through intensive workshops by experts in their chosen field, participants will also discover and learn to apply the key strategies required to achieve excellence in clinical practice, organizational development and leadership.
The conference has been designed to not only educate but inspire participants to achieve their professional best. Between each scientific and skill building presentation, top performers from a variety of professions and disciplines including music, sports, entertainment will perform and talk about the steps required for excellence.
